Let’s Clean Ashaiman! Big Community Exercise Slated for July 1st
The Ashaiman Municipal Assembly (ASHMA) is calling on all residents to gear up for a major Clean-Up Exercise happening on 1st July 2025 — and it’s going to be big!
Set to start sharply at 6:00 AM, this community-wide event will begin at the Ashaiman Roundabout and end at the Main Station, targeting some of the busiest areas in the municipality. The goal? To transform Ashaiman into a cleaner, healthier, and safer place for everyone.
In photos circulating on social media and local platforms, sanitation workers dressed in bright orange vests are seen actively cleaning, signaling that this won’t be an ordinary exercise — it’s a full-force movement to clean up the town!
The clean-up is part of ASHMA’s ongoing efforts to promote good hygiene, proper waste disposal, and environmental awareness. With growing concerns about urban cleanliness and sanitation-related diseases, this initiative is both timely and necessary.
Residents are encouraged to come out in numbers with tools like brooms, shovels, gloves, and waste bags. Let’s join hands to make Ashaiman a better place — starting with our streets!
