Seth Terkper, the former Finance Minister, has reiterated his opposition to the government's proposed e-levy.
After seeing certain media stories reportedly indicating that he supports the levy, this was done to dispel any questions regarding his views.
He labeled the e-levy as a "nuisance tax" that discriminates against savers who use electronic "wallets" instead of banks and institutions to save in a statement.
"This violates the notion of tax equity," he stated.
