It Was a Fair Ruling From Court - Ras Mubarak

It was barely some months now that, Achimota School and the Rastafarians students issues popped up.

Tyron Marhguy and Oheneba Nkrabea got admitted at Achimota School, but based on the school rules and regulations , they ordered Tyron and Oheneba to abide by the school rules by cutting their hair .

They also believes that is their belief , so it will be difficult for them to accept that by the school.

On Monday May 31, the Human Right Division of the Accra High Court in it rulling on the issue ordered Achimota School to immediately admit and allow the Rastafarians to further their education.

Hon . Ras Mubarack a former MP of Kunbungu, media publicist and a politician , in an interview with Nana Kwabena Ampratwum on Silver Omanbapa morning show, said it was a expected and a fair rulling from the Accra High Court yesterday.

He said, in Article 28 (4) in our constitution talks about discrimination against any child and religious beliefs , so Achimota School  violated the rules and regulations in the constitution by not admitting the Rastafarians.

He, Ras said , Tyron Marhguy and Oheneba Nkrabea should  go to the school , because he thinks they want be discriminated by the school on basis of the court rulling.

Pointing of fingers and discrimination on them want happen , because all eyes will be on Achimota School on how they will treat them , and also there shouldn't be discrimination among us because each and everyone has his or her beliefs.

He finally said, we have our own culture and we shouldn't stick to a particular lifestyle that does not suit us and rather we should  go back to our basis and our schools should embrace with diversity.
