A 16 year old boy primary Six Student at Sefwi Besibema a community with in Sefwi Akontombra district, Eric Osei Bonsu popularly known as Naasei has met his untimely dead by drowned in a river called Pro when he was swimming with his friend.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at Sefwi wiawso municipality government hospital mortuary while the Sefwi Akontombra district police command embarked on investigations.
In an interview with the deceased father, Mr Eric Arthur explained how the sad news of his son was reported to him and he run to the river to get his son out and he also nearly drown.
The assembly member of the area, Hon Isaac Entie in an interview stated that he has warned the children several occasions not to go near the river but they did not listen to him.
